Fishcakes!

Fishcakes is a simple arcade game - you control Skipper, a hungry fish looking for snacks; as luck would have it, a delivery boat for the local seafood chain Fish Wizard seems to be throwing dozens upon dozens of fishcakes into the bay!

Of course, nobody ever said those cakes were for Skipper. You're not the only fish in the sea, after all!

Catch as many fishcakes as you can while evading hazards from above and beside you - master using your eight-way dash to safely pass through (or defeat!) whatever is keeping you from a full belly!

On Sunday, May 26th of this year, I sat down with no knowledge of C# or the Unity engine and decided I was going to learn. This is the fruit of my first fumblings into the world of gamedev.

It's not perfect, but if I can make Fishcakes today, just imagine what I can make tomorrow.
